    What outcome do you actually need, and why does it matter?

    Who should the AI act as? Give it expertise and perspective.

    Name the format, length and structure you want back.

    Supply the facts, context and constraints only you know.

Prompt templates

Professional email

Act as an experienced business communicator.
Write a [length] email to [audience] about [topic].
Context: [key facts, history, sensitivities].
Outcome: the reader should [specific action or understanding].
Tone: [professional / warm / firm]. Avoid [jargon, over-apologising].
Return the subject line and body separately.

Meeting notes to actions

Act as a chief of staff.
Below are my raw meeting notes. Produce:
1) A 3-line summary of what was decided
2) A table of actions with owner and due date
3) Open questions still unresolved
Notes: [paste notes]
Flag anything ambiguous rather than guessing.

Presentation outline

Act as a communications coach.
Build a [number]-slide outline for [audience] on [topic].
Goal of the talk: [decision / buy-in / update].
For each slide give a headline message and 3 supporting points.
Keep it narrative, not a list of facts. Time limit: [minutes].

Analysis and insight

Act as an analyst reviewing this information for [audience].
Data/context: [paste].
Identify the 3 most significant patterns, what likely explains each,
and what I should do about them. State clearly where the data is
insufficient to draw a conclusion.

Decision support

Act as a strategic advisor.
Decision: [describe]. Options: [A, B, C].
Constraints: [budget, time, people, risk appetite].
Give the strongest case for each option, the key risks,
what would have to be true for each to be right,
and the question I should answer before deciding.

Career and development

Act as a career coach for a [role] in [industry].
My strengths: [list]. My goal in 12 months: [goal].
Identify the gaps between where I am and that goal,
and propose a realistic 90-day development plan with
weekly effort estimates and how I will measure progress.

Jump back into the course
